# Microsoft Edge vs PremierPro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Microsoft Edge at 58% against PremierPro's 11%. Microsoft Edge also leads on rating (4.7 vs 1.0) and update cadence (weekly vs every 29 months). PremierPro's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Microsoft Edge sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. PremierPro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Microsoft Edge holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft Edge has 588K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 58% of Microsoft Edge's written reviews are positive against 11% of PremierPro's.

Microsoft Edge ships an update weekly, PremierPro every 29 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
