# The Record Exchange vs JID

The Record Exchange and JID both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of The Record Exchange's written reviews are positive against 71% of JID's. The Record Exchange also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). JID's advantage is ratings volume (40 vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Record Exchange holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JID has 40 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of The Record Exchange's written reviews are positive against 71% of JID's.
