# Amicus Prime vs Gotham Pickleball

The clearest difference is rating: Gotham Pickleball at 4.9 against Amicus Prime's 4.2. Gotham Pickleball also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (260 vs 31). Amicus Prime's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gotham Pickleball holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gotham Pickleball has 260 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Amicus Prime's written reviews are positive against 67% of Gotham Pickleball's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Amicus Prime ships an update every 2 months, Gotham Pickleball weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
