# Amicus Prime vs Spinsight

The clearest difference is monetization model: Amicus Prime at free against Spinsight's free with in-app purchases. Amicus Prime also leads on review sentiment (72% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). Spinsight's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Spinsight holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 19 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Amicus Prime's written reviews are positive against 50% of Spinsight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Amicus Prime ships an update every 2 months, Spinsight every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
