# Pixii App vs Phocus Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Phocus Mobile at 4.6 against Pixii App's 4.0. Phocus Mobile also leads on ratings volume (522 vs 5) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Pixii App's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 46%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Phocus Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Phocus Mobile has 522 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Pixii App's written reviews are positive against 46% of Phocus Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pixii App ships an update every 2 months, Phocus Mobile every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
