# Fixi vs Duux (Gen 1)

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Fixi at 100% against Duux (Gen 1)'s 17%. Fixi also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Duux (Gen 1)'s advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Duux (Gen 1) holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fixi has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Fixi's written reviews are positive against 17% of Duux (Gen 1)'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fixi ships an update every 3 weeks, Duux (Gen 1) every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
