# Gong.io vs Brex

The clearest difference is rating: Brex at 4.8 against Gong.io's 3.9. Brex also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (8.8K vs 113). Gong.io's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 44%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Brex holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brex has 8.8K ratings behind it against 113, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Gong.io's written reviews are positive against 44% of Brex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gong.io ships an update every 2 weeks, Brex weekly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
