# U vs CareConnect Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: CareConnect Mobile at 4.8 against U's 4.1. CareConnect Mobile also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 18). U's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 42%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CareConnect Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CareConnect Mobile has 1.3K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of U's written reviews are positive against 42% of CareConnect Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
