# Smart & Green vs Smart Mesh

The clearest difference is update cadence: Smart Mesh at every 3 weeks against Smart & Green's every 2 months. Smart Mesh also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). Smart & Green's advantage is ratings volume (66 vs 11). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 1.3 for Smart & Green against 1.4 for Smart Mesh. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart & Green has 66 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 9% of Smart & Green's written reviews are positive against 15% of Smart Mesh's.

Smart & Green ships an update every 2 months, Smart Mesh every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
