# Lens Buddy vs DailyLapse

The clearest difference is update cadence: DailyLapse at every 2 days against Lens Buddy's every 2 weeks. Lens Buddy's advantage is chart position (#146 vs unranked) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lens Buddy sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and DailyLapse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lens Buddy ships an update every 2 weeks, DailyLapse every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
