# TopLogger vs BoulderBot

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BoulderBot at 75% against TopLogger's 28%. TopLogger's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BoulderBot sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. TopLogger asks for nothing beyond the download.

TopLogger holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of TopLogger's written reviews are positive against 75% of BoulderBot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TopLogger ships an update every 2 months, BoulderBot every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
