# Forever Smart vs Buddywatch

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Forever Smart at none against Buddywatch's 13. Forever Smart also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Buddywatch's advantage is review sentiment (52% vs 25%) and ratings volume (8.7K vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Buddywatch sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Forever Smart asks for nothing beyond the download.

Forever Smart holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Buddywatch has 8.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Forever Smart's written reviews are positive against 52% of Buddywatch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Forever Smart ships an update every 2 months, Buddywatch monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
