# Arpinet TV vs OttPlayertv

The clearest difference is ratings volume: OttPlayertv at 9.3K against Arpinet TV's 6. OttPlayertv also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and device support (4 vs 2). Arpinet TV's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 48%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OttPlayertv holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OttPlayertv has 9.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Arpinet TV's written reviews are positive against 48% of OttPlayertv's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Arpinet TV ships an update every 2 months, OttPlayertv fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
