# VeSync vs AiDot

VeSync and AiDot both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 82% of VeSync's written reviews are positive against 44% of AiDot's. VeSync also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 20) and ratings volume (75K vs 8.1K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AiDot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. VeSync asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for VeSync against 4.7 for AiDot. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VeSync has 75K ratings behind it against 8.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of VeSync's written reviews are positive against 44% of AiDot's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 2, 2026.
