# Bear Evolution vs Bear Heart Defense

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bear Heart Defense at every 10 days against Bear Evolution's every 5 weeks. Bear Heart Defense also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). Bear Evolution's advantage is ratings volume (138 vs 9). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bear Evolution sells 14 one-off in-app purchases and Bear Heart Defense sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bear Heart Defense holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bear Evolution has 138 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Bear Evolution ships an update every 5 weeks, Bear Heart Defense every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
