# Bear Evolution vs Idle Evolution

Bear Evolution and Idle Evolution both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Bear Evolution's written reviews are positive against 78% of Idle Evolution's. Bear Evolution also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 5 months). Idle Evolution's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 138). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bear Evolution sells 14 one-off in-app purchases and Idle Evolution sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bear Evolution holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Idle Evolution has 1.3K ratings behind it against 138, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Bear Evolution's written reviews are positive against 78% of Idle Evolution's.

Bear Evolution ships an update every 5 weeks, Idle Evolution every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
