# iSmeye vs FtyCam

The clearest difference is ads: iSmeye at none against FtyCam's shown. iSmeye also leads on rating (2.1 vs 1.9) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). FtyCam's advantage is ratings volume (183 vs 7). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iSmeye holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FtyCam has 183 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 6% of iSmeye's written reviews are positive against 7% of FtyCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iSmeye ships an update every 6 weeks, FtyCam monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
