# Superlocal vs The Checkin

The clearest difference is update cadence: Superlocal at every 6 days against The Checkin's monthly. The Checkin's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Superlocal sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days and The Checkin sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Superlocal ships an update every 6 days, The Checkin monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
