# Unsplash vs AI Wallpapers Generator

The clearest difference is rating: Unsplash at 4.9 against AI Wallpapers Generator's 4.4. Unsplash also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 19). AI Wallpapers Generator's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Unsplash holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unsplash has 13K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Unsplash's written reviews are positive against 100% of AI Wallpapers Generator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Unsplash ships an update every 3 weeks, AI Wallpapers Generator weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
