# FotoDa vs Bansa

The clearest difference is rating: Bansa at 4.8 against FotoDa's 4.0. Bansa also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). FotoDa's advantage is review sentiment (59% vs 40%) and ratings volume (139 vs 24). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FotoDa sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bansa sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bansa holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FotoDa has 139 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of FotoDa's written reviews are positive against 40% of Bansa's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FotoDa ships an update every 8 months, Bansa every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
