# Evoland 2 vs Dwarf Journey

The clearest difference is price: Dwarf Journey at Free against Evoland 2's $6.99. Dwarf Journey also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (79% vs 60%). Evoland 2's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 39). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Dwarf Journey is free to download; Evoland 2 costs $6.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Evoland 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Evoland 2 has 2.8K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Evoland 2's written reviews are positive against 79% of Dwarf Journey's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Evoland 2 ships an update every 2 months, Dwarf Journey every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
