# Dynamic Target Tool vs Instant Guard

The clearest difference is rating: Dynamic Target Tool at 5.0 against Instant Guard's 3.4. Dynamic Target Tool also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). Instant Guard's advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 0%) and ratings volume (61 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dynamic Target Tool holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Instant Guard has 61 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Dynamic Target Tool's written reviews are positive against 38% of Instant Guard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dynamic Target Tool ships an update every 9 months, Instant Guard every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
