# ETS LIVE vs QREC

The clearest difference is update cadence: QREC at every 5 weeks against ETS LIVE's every 18 months. ETS LIVE's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ETS LIVE ships an update every 18 months, QREC every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
