# ASC vs Bitex

The clearest difference is ads: Bitex at none against ASC's shown. Bitex also leads on rating (2.0 vs 1.6) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). ASC's advantage is ratings volume (19 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bitex holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ASC has 19 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 4% of ASC's written reviews are positive against 0% of Bitex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ASC ships an update every 2 months, Bitex every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
