# Surrealizer vs SliceTimeCam

The clearest difference is update cadence: SliceTimeCam at weekly against Surrealizer's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Surrealizer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SliceTimeCam sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Surrealizer ships an update every 2 weeks, SliceTimeCam weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
