# Assist vs Visiting Angels

The clearest difference is update cadence: Visiting Angels at every 3 weeks against Assist's every 3 months. Assist's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Assist ships an update every 3 months, Visiting Angels every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
