# NOS Net vs The Queer Spot

The clearest difference is review sentiment: The Queer Spot at 100% against NOS Net's 0%. The Queer Spot also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15). NOS Net's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NOS Net holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NOS Net has 19 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of NOS Net's written reviews are positive against 100% of The Queer Spot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NOS Net ships an update every 5 months, The Queer Spot every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
