# 超SOS vs Survive Tonight

The clearest difference is rating: 超SOS at 4.5 against Survive Tonight's 3.7. 超SOS also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Survive Tonight's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 70%). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Survive Tonight sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. 超SOS asks for nothing beyond the download.

超SOS holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of 超SOS's written reviews are positive against 100% of Survive Tonight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

超SOS ships an update fortnightly, Survive Tonight every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
