# Linn vs Oktiv

The clearest difference is rating: Oktiv at 5.0 against Linn's 4.6. Linn's advantage is ratings volume (298 vs 3) and review sentiment (48% vs 24%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Oktiv holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Linn has 298 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Linn's written reviews are positive against 24% of Oktiv's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Linn ships an update monthly, Oktiv every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
