# The Stache Lounge vs Sully's

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sully's at every 3 months against The Stache Lounge's every 10 months. Sully's also leads on ratings volume (164 vs 9) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). The Stache Lounge's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for The Stache Lounge against 4.9 for Sully's. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sully's has 164 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

The Stache Lounge ships an update every 10 months, Sully's every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
