# Harley vs Random Picker

Harley and Random Picker both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 77% of Random Picker's written reviews are positive against 34% of Harley's. Random Picker also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). Harley's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (39K vs 1.5K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Harley against 4.8 for Random Picker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Harley has 39K ratings behind it against 1.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 34% of Harley's written reviews are positive against 77% of Random Picker's.

Harley ships an update every 8 days, Random Picker every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
