# Harley vs DealerChips

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DealerChips at 100% against Harley's 34%. DealerChips also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Harley's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (40K vs 14). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DealerChips sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Harley asks for nothing beyond the download.

Harley holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Harley has 40K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Harley's written reviews are positive against 100% of DealerChips's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Harley ships an update every 11 days, DealerChips every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
