# T vs SpaceHawk GPS

The clearest difference is rating: SpaceHawk GPS at 4.5 against T's 3.8. SpaceHawk GPS also leads on ratings volume (398 vs 45). T's advantage is update cadence (every 4 months vs every 23 months) and review sentiment (53% vs 44%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SpaceHawk GPS holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SpaceHawk GPS has 398 ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of T's written reviews are positive against 44% of SpaceHawk GPS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

T ships an update every 4 months, SpaceHawk GPS every 23 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
