# RangeTech vs BSHOCK

The clearest difference is rating: BSHOCK at 4.8 against RangeTech's 4.2. BSHOCK also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). RangeTech's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (85% vs 50%). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BSHOCK sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. RangeTech asks for nothing beyond the download.

BSHOCK holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 21 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of RangeTech's written reviews are positive against 50% of BSHOCK's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
