# Baron Performance vs Land

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Baron Performance at 19 against Land's 1. Baron Performance also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). Land's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Baron Performance against 5.0 for Land. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baron Performance has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Baron Performance ships an update every 2 months, Land every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
