# Shadow's Edge vs (Not Boring) Vibes

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Shadow's Edge at none against (Not Boring) Vibes's 4. Shadow's Edge also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). (Not Boring) Vibes's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 33) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. (Not Boring) Vibes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Shadow's Edge asks for nothing beyond the download.

(Not Boring) Vibes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: (Not Boring) Vibes has 2.8K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Shadow's Edge's written reviews are positive against 91% of (Not Boring) Vibes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shadow's Edge ships an update every 2 months, (Not Boring) Vibes monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
