# Master Kit vs Mind Power

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Master Kit at none against Mind Power's 4. Master Kit also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). Mind Power's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mind Power sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Master Kit asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mind Power holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 54 and 48 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Master Kit's written reviews are positive against 65% of Mind Power's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Master Kit ships an update every 2 months, Mind Power monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
