# Advanced Space Flight Lite vs Space Crew Dragon

The clearest difference is update cadence: Advanced Space Flight Lite at every 4 months against Space Crew Dragon's every 38 months. Advanced Space Flight Lite also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 47%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Space Crew Dragon's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.1 vs 3.9). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Space Crew Dragon holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 83 and 174 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Advanced Space Flight Lite's written reviews are positive against 47% of Space Crew Dragon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Advanced Space Flight Lite ships an update every 4 months, Space Crew Dragon every 38 months. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
