# Teradek Core vs Scene Savers

The clearest difference is rating: Scene Savers at 5.0 against Teradek Core's 4.3. Scene Savers also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). Teradek Core's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scene Savers holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teradek Core has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Teradek Core ships an update every 2 months, Scene Savers every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
