# Expert Assistant Professional vs DS Classic

The clearest difference is rating: Expert Assistant Professional at 3.0 against DS Classic's 2.3. DS Classic's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 0%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Expert Assistant Professional holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 16 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Expert Assistant Professional's written reviews are positive against 25% of DS Classic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Expert Assistant Professional ships an update every 3 months, DS Classic monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
