# CloudEdge vs Septekon

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Septekon at none against CloudEdge's 21. Septekon also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3). CloudEdge's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 42%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CloudEdge sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Septekon asks for nothing beyond the download.

Septekon holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 21K and 4.3K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of CloudEdge's written reviews are positive against 42% of Septekon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CloudEdge ships an update every 2 weeks, Septekon every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
