# CloudEdge vs CCTV Cameras

The clearest difference is rating: CloudEdge at 4.3 against CCTV Cameras's 1.0. CloudEdge also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (21K vs 1). CCTV Cameras's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 21) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CloudEdge sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. CCTV Cameras asks for nothing beyond the download.

CloudEdge holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CloudEdge has 21K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CloudEdge ships an update every 2 weeks, CCTV Cameras every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
