# CloudEdge vs CodHome

The clearest difference is rating: CodHome at 5.0 against CloudEdge's 4.3. CodHome also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 63%). CloudEdge's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (21K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CloudEdge sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and CodHome sells 36 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CodHome holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CloudEdge has 21K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 63% of CloudEdge's written reviews are positive against 75% of CodHome's.

CloudEdge ships an update every 2 weeks, CodHome every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
