# Spider Solitaire vs Super Spider Solitaire!

The clearest difference is ads: Super Spider Solitaire! at none against Spider Solitaire's shown. Super Spider Solitaire! also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Spider Solitaire's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (279 vs 6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spider Solitaire sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Super Spider Solitaire! sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spider Solitaire holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spider Solitaire has 279 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Spider Solitaire's written reviews are positive against 100% of Super Spider Solitaire!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spider Solitaire ships an update every 4 months, Super Spider Solitaire! every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
