# RibCrib vs Sona Coffee

The clearest difference is rating: RibCrib at 4.9 against Sona Coffee's 4.2. RibCrib also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 5). Sona Coffee's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RibCrib holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RibCrib has 12K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of RibCrib's written reviews are positive against 100% of Sona Coffee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
