# RibCrib vs Itokos Grill

The clearest difference is ads: Itokos Grill at none against RibCrib's shown. Itokos Grill also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). RibCrib's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for RibCrib against 5.0 for Itokos Grill. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RibCrib has 12K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
