# Functions and derivatives vs Derivative Calculator Solver

The clearest difference is rating: Derivative Calculator Solver at 4.3 against Functions and derivatives's 1.5. Derivative Calculator Solver also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 2). Functions and derivatives's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6).
