# FAD® vs Tecnolite Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Tecnolite Connect at 4.7 against FAD®'s 2.3. Tecnolite Connect also leads on ratings volume (98 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5.0). FAD®'s advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months) and review sentiment (58% vs 39%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tecnolite Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tecnolite Connect has 98 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of FAD®'s written reviews are positive against 39% of Tecnolite Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FAD® ships an update every 2 months, Tecnolite Connect every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
