# CBAT vs Mental Math Games

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Mental Math Games at 1.2K against CBAT's 3. Mental Math Games also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). CBAT's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CBAT sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mental Math Games sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CBAT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mental Math Games has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of CBAT's written reviews are positive against 93% of Mental Math Games's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CBAT ships an update every 3 days, Mental Math Games every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
