# Emax vs City Centres

The clearest difference is rating: City Centres at 4.6 against Emax's 3.3. City Centres also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

City Centres holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 20 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Emax's written reviews are positive against 50% of City Centres's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Emax ships an update monthly, City Centres every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
